Clarification.

If you´ve tried tried to search for our music on the excellent Spotify recently, you´ll have found what appears to be a brand new album by Antennas. That is not entirely accurate. It would appear that a new band with an excellent taste when it comes to choosing a band name has released an album that has been sorted together with our album. The search engine does not appear to differentiate between our bands which might lead to some unfortunate misunderstandings.

It is not however, I repeat not, a new Antennas album.

Finished recording, competition time.

Ok, so we just finished up recording a cover of an as of yet secret song. There´s still some work to be done mixing the song but we are really happy with the result and we can´t wait for you to hear it.

Meanwhile, let´s have a competition. If you can guess which song we´ve recorded we´ll make sure you´ll be among the first ones to get your very own copy of it.

Some hints: it´s one of our favorite songs and we have performed it live on occasion. Guesses in the comments.

Uhmm… what?

So. Not sure what happened there but yeah… we have kind of sucked at updating this page for a while now. If you´ve been worrying for our health I can set your minds at ease by saying: we´re alright! Back from touring, safe and sound. We´ve even managed to squeeze in the odd show here and there.

We have actually been enjoying a little vacation as well. As you may or may not know vacation during summer is more or less THE LAW here in Sweden. We´ve done the obligatory trip home to Gotland, the island where Antennas was born. Remarkably nice, as a matter of fact.

So now what? We are actually heading into a studio for some recording. Exciting news, yes? We´re not sure what will come out of it yet though. We´ll see. Just keep your eyes peeled. Actually, i´ll give you a small hint: we´re recording a cover of a song that we really like.

Some pictures.

Some nice people that was at some of our shows took pictures from Berlin and from Cologne.

Half time report.

Ok, so we´ve now finished half of the tour and so far it´s been quite a chaotic trip. Right now our biggest problem is that my guitar amp is broken which kind of makes things harder for us. A quite costly repair in Vienna didn´t really help so we´ll have to think of something else. We have a lead on a good repair shop in Innsbruck so let´s hope for the best.

All the shows so far have been really good though and we´ve had a blast with all the nice people that we´ve met along the way.

Right now we´re resting up in Steyr, Austria. We´ll try to get some sightseeing done before heading on to Weyer where we´re playing tonight.

Münich the Menace

Evening ya’ll.
Chilling out in the hotel resting up after what must have been one of the crazier nights so far. Im not gonna bore you with details but it involved a great show and plenty of goa bärs and a demonstråle.
So to say we were tired this morning when we rolled out of bed with our heads in shame is an understatement.
Anyway, we went to our car just to find out it was missing. Stolen?!
Oh, please not! Lots of stuff that can’t be lost in that van.
We headed straight to the polizei who eased our minds by telling us it had been towed cos it was doubleparked. That was a big bummer and cost us a shitload of money but atleast we got everything back meaning we’re ready for Vienna tomorrow.

Freaky.

We have a brand new video for you to check out. It´s for our new single Youngbloods and is the work of the brilliant Anders Hellman. You can check it out right here. It´s freaky.

Day # two.

Second day of touring and we feel great. Thanks to everyone in at Prinzenbar last night! Tonight it´s Berlin and Magnet. Hope to see you there!

Premier tour gig, live over internet!

Don’t be sorry if you can’t make it to the premier gig of our European Tour tonight, at the Prinzenbar in Hamburg, because you will have the opportunity to check us out anyway via a live internet transmission from that gig. The transmission starts at 20.30 March 18th. If you feel like spending some quality time with us make yourself comfortable and, click here.

Epic.

A big thank you to all the people in front of, and behind the stage at Debaser last weekend. We had a really epic night. If you weren´t able to attend, here are some pictures for you to enjoy.
